A cooperative effort of several
GEA companies has resulted in the development of an innovative new packaging system. StratapacTM features a single-ply
co-extruded outer using the latest metallocene co-extruded film technology to provide a strong protective outer capable
of carrying high-quality graphics. The use of barrier plastic for the hygienic inner pack protects products from damage by
oxygen, odors, or moisture. Equipment for closing a filled pack, developed by Avalon Engineering, seals both the internal pouch and the outer pack, while at the same time creating an easy opening mechanism, all in a single operation. End users will be amazed at the ease and speed of opening Stratapac bags. An effortless, single action opens the outer along perforations, enabling the inner sealed pack to be hygienically removed.
